All of Lena’s stories come from her father’s country, Lyentye. Lena has only ever been known to paint the story for Soakage Dreaming and bush foods, but she also owns the story for the Bush Plum along with her sister Rosie Pwerle.
These paintings depict the Dreaming of the Soakages (waterholes) which is the traditional source of water in various places of Lena’s traditional land of Ahalpere. These are particularly important during droughts. Her colours are brilliant and vibrant to emphasize her Dreaming of the Soakage.
